The Only Formula That Matters

A good winter moisturiser balances:

Humectants pull water in (glycerin, HA, urea).
Emollients smooth (squalane, triglycerides, shea, cholesterol).
Occlusives lock moisture (petrolatum, dimethicone).

Oily/Acne-Prone

Texture: Gel-Cream.
Look For: 5–10% glycerin, HA, squalane, niacinamide 2–5%.
Tip: Spot-seal only on flaky patches at night.

Combination

Cream for cheeks, gel for T-zone. Two products = fewer breakouts + fewer flakes.

Dry/Very Dry

Rich cream/balm with ceramides + cholesterol + fatty acids, urea 5–10%.

Sensitive

Mid-weight, fragrance-free; panthenol, ectoin, bisabolol.

Application Rules That Move The Needle

Apply on damp skin; use an almond-size amount for face.
Seal driest areas with a rice-grain of occlusive at night.
Hands: reapply after every wash (Delhi winter hand dermatitis is real).
