I want to explain something about this device that I think most clinic websites get wrong.
ClearLift Pro gets described as a melasma treatment. Or a tattoo removal device. Or a skin tightening laser. Each of those is accurate — but describing it as one thing at a time misses what makes it genuinely unusual in clinical practice.
The ClearLift Pro is a single applicator with two wavelengths, five depth settings, two tip geometries, and a photoacoustic delivery mechanism. What that means in practice is that the same device — in the same session — can address dermal melasma at depth setting -2, superficial sun spots at the 532nm setting, fine lines around the eyes with the fractional pixel tip, and vascular redness on the nose with the 532nm spot tip. Fine Lines and Wrinkles
Fine lines and ClearLift Pro have a specific relationship that is worth explaining. The device works by stimulating new collagen in the dermis — which is where fine lines originate. The epidermis creases because the dermis below it has lost volume and elasticity. Treating the epidermis, the way most topical and some light-based treatments do, addresses the symptom without affecting the cause.
The fractional pixel tip at appropriate depth settings places thermal coagulation columns directly in the layer of dermis responsible for the lines above. The 1064nm Nd:YAG nanosecond pulse is most effective on dark inks — black, dark blue, dark grey. These absorb the 1064nm wavelength strongly. The 532nm KTP frequency-doubling tip targets lighter and coloured inks — red, orange, brown, some greens — which absorb the 532nm wavelength more efficiently.
